Welcome

GraphiCon is the largest international conference on Computer Graphics, Computer Vision, Image and Video processing in the territory of the former USSR annually held in Russian Federation. Following well-established traditions, the 17th event will be hosted by Moscow State University on June 23-27, 2007

The Graphicon'2007 conference takes part in the UMNIC program, announced by The Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises (http://www.fasie.ru). The program is designed to support the young bright researchers from the Russian Federation, whose research can lead to development of innovative solutions. The winners of the UMNIC contest will receive the financial support from FASIE for the next two years (200K RU per year). More information about the program is available on FASIE site ( http://www.fasie.ru/index.php?rid=120 ).

Authors (below 28 years old, Russian Federation) who wants to participate in the UMNIC contest, should notify the conference organization committee before May 15. The expert council will select the winners in cooperation with FASIE experts based on authors paper and oral presentation.

GraphiCon is traditionally organized in cooperation with Eurographics Association.

Reviews and publications

All submissions will be carefully and anonymously reviewed by the International Program Committee. Accepted papers will be presented orally at the conference and appear in the proceedings.

Official language of the conference is English. Submissions in Russian are possible, but they will be organized in separate sections (English abstracts are required).

In order to evaluate better the conference sections and events you are kindly requested to fill in and send to the Organizing Committee a sort of preliminary non-obligatory registration (declaration of intent):

GraphiCon - крупнейшая международная конференция по компьютерной графике, машинному зрению, обработке изображений и видео на территории бывшего СССР, ежегодно проводящаяся в России. 17ая конференция проводится Московским государственным университетом 23-27 июня 2007 г.

На конференции Графикон 2007 будет проходить конкурсный отбор участников программы УМНИК, проводимой "Фондом содействия развитию малых форм предприятий в научно-технической сфере". Подробнее о программе УМНИК можно узнать на сайте фонда - http://www.fasie.ru/index.php?rid=120.

Молодые ученые, желающие принять участие в Программе, должны заранее (до 15 мая) уведомить об этом Оргкомитет конференции.

Графикон традиционно проводится в содружестве с Eurographics Association.

Официальный язык конференции - английский. Представлений статей на русском языке также возможно, однако они будут объединены в отдельную секцию (при этом необходима аннотация на английском языке).

Все принятые статьи будут включены в материалы конференции и распределены в печатном и электронном виде среди участников конференции.
